Melissa Mendoza is a professional Holistic Health Practitioner and certified Massage Therapist recognized by the California Massage Therapy Council by CAMTC# 40448 and insured by ABMP since 2012, AMTA since 2016. Melissa attended Healing Hands School of Holistic Health in Laguna Hills California from 2012 – 2013 where she studied a unique variety of subjects. Just to name a few: Swedish/Circulatory Massage which is best for relaxation, blood flow and over all well-being.  Deep Tissue Massage which is best for deep root physical issues at usually involve the connective tissue needing attention.  Prenatal Massage good for pre and post pregnancy from 12 weeks – post-delivery. Sports Massage for athletes needing more advanced circulatory style massage. CranioSacral I & II for issues related to the cerebral fluid within the body, most commonly related to head and structural issues within the body. Neuromuscular Therapy to help improve nerve damage by bringing in fresh blood flow to the area of concern. Trigger Point Therapy helps with tight areas within muscle tissue that can cause pain in other parts of the body. Lymph Drainage works to move the lymph system of the body to clear stagnation in the lymph nodes. Tui Na Acupressure Massage is an ancient Chinese Medicine technique that can improve blood circulation, increase range of motion and is effective in nerve regulation. This modality is effective for the treatment of muscles, tendons, and ligaments. And the list goes on. Melissa completed an internship in December 2012 for a community service career development class where she worked in a prenatal clinic in Escondido CA providing Prenatal Massage services to low income mothers. This was a very fulling experience for her that confirmed she was doing the work she set out to do. From there she worked in the Chiropractic and Spa environments within South Orange County California. In 2006, prior to Massage Therapy School at Healing Hands School of Holistic Health, Melissa attended Balanced Energies Holistic Healing Center in Temecula California where she received certifications in Energy Healing, Crystal Healing, Chakra Balancing, Reiki and Hypnotherapy. All used in her Holistic Health Practice for a number of reasons to treat the whole person and help bring them into balance.  Melissa offers in-home Massage Therapy and Energy Balancing services in Orange County California. Melissa enjoys the beach, hiking, swimming, Pilates, arts and crafts, and reading. Melissa currently resides with her husband in Laguna Niguel, Orange County, California.
